Know anyone going into 6th grade next year? Tell them to join band! We have an info meeting for parents and students tomorrow night in the Junior High Band Room, and there will be snacks! They will sign up for a time to come try on instruments on Friday afternoon! If they are going into 7th or 8th grade band and regret not joining and want to join now, send them on as well!

Special thanks goes to Julie Kissinger and her Maker Space at the MVHS Media Center for helping create centerpieces for our recent Jazz Band Dinner. The students spray-painted horses and created mini rose garlands, and they also created horse and jockey silhouettes on sticks. Thank you for helping to make our event so special!😊🎶🐎

Really proud of this group right here. It's not about ratings or trophies, its about making great music together, and we have made some great music this semester. Seeing their growth from January to now has been amazing. But hey, a gold medal sure doesnt hurt your feelings 🏅 The band received a gold on stage and in sight reading yesterday at our Concert Assesment. Come hear their hard work at the spring concert on May 12th at 7pm in the High School PAC.

Congrats to 8th grade trumpet player Ellie O'Neil on this awesome accomplishment!

We are excited to announce that THREE local Posey County kids have secured a spot on Indiana’s National Team, “Team Indiana”!!!

Lane Burns, Liberty Buchanan, and Ellie O’Neil will represent Indiana at the Heartland National Duals in Council Bluffs, Iowa!!

We are beyond proud of their dedication and hard work! Opportunities like this help show them it is all worth it!
