Birthing Bioregional Learning Center’s (BLC’s) meeting

This is a space for everyone within the bioregion to come together with others to start to create a shared identity across our bioregion, and have learning exchanges. This series of meetings supports the Birthing BLCs learning journey and will be held every other Thursday at 9:30 am.
There will be opportunities for design discussions around material in the learning journey webinars.

People all over the world are gathering to regenerate the Earth
at the bioregional scale and organize into a planetary network of
learning exchanges between landscapes.

These webinars occur bi-weekly
and will last approximately 90 minutes
Each session will consist of a presentation
followed by a discussion and Q&A

The presentation will feature Joe Brewer, internationally renowned for his work in regeneration and bioregionalism, community artist and weaver Clare Attwell, and Brandon Letsinger, founder of Cascadia Now! and the Department of Bioregion (of which Regenerate Cascadia is a project).

Joe Brewer is a global leader in bioregional regeneration and system complexity. He is a transdisciplinary scholar with a background in both earth sciences and cognitive sciences. He’s an inspiring speaker and leading-edge systems complexity thinker.

He will lead a series of conversations, workshops and presentations to weave, highlight and empower amazing place-based networks, innovations and on-the-ground work happening across watersheds in the Cascadia bioregion.

This tour is a powerful example of clear vision
combined with local action.

The main live event will be held at Skagit Valley College
in Mount Vernon, Lewis Hall 311
and will be streamed to residents in both counties.
