And why not come hungry? 😋 The Mount Union FFA Food Truck Fundraiser will be happening from 4:00–8:00 PM in the high school parking lot by the baseball field! 🚚🌾

📢 District Office Hours Are Expanding!

We are excited to announce expanded hours at the Mount Union Area School District Office to better serve our students, parents, families, and community! 💙💛

Beginning Monday, the District Office will be open:

🕢 Monday–Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

On Board Workshop and Board Meeting days, the District Office will remain open until:

🕔 5:00 p.m.

We hope these expanded hours make it easier for our parents, students, and community members to access the services and support they need.

🌙 **’Twas the night before school, and all through the house…** 🏫❤️

The backpacks are packed, the alarms are set, and tomorrow, our hallways will once again be filled with the energy, laughter, excitement, and smiles of our **Mount Union Area School District Trojans!** 💙💛

We are SO excited to welcome our students back tomorrow! We know the first day can bring a whole mix of emotions for students and families, and we want you to know how grateful we are that you entrust your children to us each day.

Thank you, parents and caregivers, for being our partners. We are here to listen, communicate, support, and work alongside you because **we are better and more effective when we work together.** When families and schools partner together, our students are the ones who benefit most. ❤️

💙💛 A Wonderful Start to the 2026–2027 School Year! 💛💙

Today marked our first Inservice Day of the 2026–2027 school year, and it was a wonderful start to a new year at Mount Union Area School District!

Our faculty and staff began the morning together over breakfast. We were honored not only to begin our day with our amazing staff, but also to enjoy breakfast with our Smith-Rhone and Merakey partners. We are grateful for the partnerships and support they provide to our school community!

Following breakfast, we gathered in the cafeteria for a moment of silence in memory of Russell Booher. In a particularly meaningful tribute, Russell’s coworker, Irma Little, led us in singing the Mount Union Alma Mater in his honor. It was a beautiful and heartfelt way to remember Russell and the impact he had on those around him. 💙💛

We then gathered in the auditorium for a welcoming message and a day filled with professional development, collaboration, and preparation for the year ahead.

The afternoon continued with beginning-of-the-year faculty meetings, which were positive, productive, and full of great discussion as we prepare to welcome our students back.

There was an incredible sense of energy, excitement, and anticipation throughout the day. We are so proud of our faculty and staff and the dedication they bring to our students and our district each and every day.

What a great start to a new school year! We are ready for 2026–2027! 🎓💙💛
