🐐🌿 What an educational week at Misfit Manor’s Faith-Based Farm Homeschool Meet-Up! 🌾❤️

Our little farmers became little Vet Techs this week! 🩺 They helped administer fall dewormer to our goats and learned how pasture maintenance and a clean environment help reduce the risk of worms. 🌱

When an upper respiratory issue hit our herd, the children also learned about animal care as we used nasal drops and fresh oregano. Thankfully, our goats improved quickly! 🙌 We know prayer works, and we give Yeshua all the praise for His blessings! 🙏✝️

🎤 On Wednesday, the children presented their favorite animals at Misfit Manor, building confidence and sharing their knowledge with friends!

🐴 We wrapped up the week putting their new veterinary skills to use and enjoying imaginative play!

They are growing in knowledge, responsibility, compassion, teamwork, and faith in Yeshua. ❤️🌾

🌾🐴 WEEKLY HOMESCHOOL MEET-UP AT MISFIT MANOR! 🐴🌾

What an AMAZING week of learning, growing, working, and making memories together! ❤️📚

Our weekly homeschool meet-up is all about giving children opportunities to learn hands-on, alongside one another and the adults who are teaching and guiding them. This week was packed with practical skills, animal care, creativity, and plenty of farm fun! 🐑🚜🦜🎨

🐴 Horse Anatomy — learning about the horse and how its body works.

🦜 BlueBird’s Care — learning about safe temperatures and proper care for our Blue-fronted Amazon parrot, BlueBird.

🎨 Arts & Crafts — creating, exploring, and letting those little imaginations run wild!

🐑 Sheep Training — working with Sophie on lead-rope training and learning patience, responsibility, and gentle handling.

🫏 Donkey Training — helping train Wh***ey to learn how to be ridden!

🚜 TRACTOR TIME! — The kids even got hands-on experience with farm equipment, from putting out hay to digging holes. We may have some future equipment operators in the making! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

These are the kinds of lessons that go beyond a textbook. ❤️ Children learn by watching, helping, practicing, asking questions, and working alongside those who have more experience.

🐴🌿 HORSEBACK RIDING LESSONS AT MISFIT MANOR! 🌿🐴

This week, riders of all ages and experience levels learned, grew, and built confidence with horses! 🤠🐎 We are grateful for the way Yahweh guides each rider’s journey and helps them discover the gifts, courage, and perseverance He has placed within them.

✨ One young rider worked with and trained our donkey, Wh***ey, learning patience, wisdom, and trust along the way.
✨ Another rider drove her favorite pony on new adventures, trusting Yahweh to give her confidence and courage with each new experience.
✨ One adult student is building confidence at the trot while remembering that true confidence comes from Yahweh and that every small step is worth celebrating.
✨ Another young lady is just beginning her riding journey—and she’s off to a wonderful start! Beginning with ba****ck riding helps develop balance and creates a strong foundation for future riding skills. 🐴💪 Through faith, encouragement, and perseverance, she is growing stronger with every ride.

We love watching every rider learn, grow, and enjoy time with the horses! ❤️ We pray that each lesson builds not only riding skills, but also confidence, patience, responsibility, and a deeper appreciation for the blessings Yahweh provides through His creation.

🌾🐴📚 WHAT A FIRST MONTH IT HAS BEEN AT MISFIT MANOR! 🐐❤️

Our first month of Misfit Manor’s Faith-Based Farm Homeschool Meet-Up has been filled with learning, laughter, hard work, and so many beautiful moments! 🙏✨

The children have been learning what farm life is all about—from milking and feeding our goats 🐐 to caring for our pigs 🐖, horses 🐴, emus 🦤, turkeys 🦃, chickens 🐔, ducks 🦆 and parrot 🦜!

🐴 One of the sweetest things has been watching children overcome their fears and begin riding horses! There have been smiles, growing confidence, and so many proud moments. ❤️

And, of course, learning isn't ALL work! 😄💦 The kids have had plenty of time for fun with the bounce house, waterslide, and trampoline, along with lots of yummy homemade treats! 🍦🥨 We enjoyed delicious homemade ice cream and soft pretzels with homemade honey mustard dipping sauce. 😋

📖 Most importantly, Yahusha remains at the center of our days. The children spend time each day reading Yahusha’s Word together and discussing what they are learning. They have also been working hard in their academic workbooks, while some bring their schoolwork from home to complete.

💪📚 What a wonderful way to encourage your child to stay focused and get their schoolwork done—while surrounding them with animals, hands-on learning, friends, and a faith-filled environment!

🐐 Now that our goats have dried up for the season, we're getting ready to learn some NEW things! Baking and tractor class are coming up, along with plenty of hands-on farm experiences. 🚜🍞

Through it all, Yahusha will always be our foundation. ❤️✝️

🐴❤️ A LITTLE HORSEBACK RIDE FOR TWO! ❤️🐴

These two lovebirds popped in this afternoon for an impromptu horseback ride, and there were smiles and laughter everywhere! 🥰🐴✨

There’s just something special about slowing down, spending time together, and making memories with a horse. ❤️
