Gives emerging leaders an insider’s view of Montgomery County through fast paced monthly sessions. Participants explore issues with key decision makers, develop a network of contacts and join the fast track to effective community service. Community experts lead stimulating, full-day sessions each month on topics relevant to Montgomery County and it’s future. Sessions will cover:

The Leadership Montgomery County Class of 2027 continued Session 2 today with a focus on Quality of Life!

A huge thank you to our amazing hosts — WMST Radio Station, Gateway Regional Arts Center, Irish Hills Golf Course, Mt. Sterling Parks & Recreation Department, and The Patch at Rose Farm for welcoming us and sharing their stories.

What a great day with Leadership Montgomery County!

Today was our Quality of Life I session, and we had a full day of learning, exploring, and getting to know even more about the amazing people and organizations that make Montgomery County such a great place to live!

We made stops at the Montgomery County History Museum and Historical Society, Ruth Hunt Candy Co., Camp McKee, Kentucky Airmotive, Inc., Montgomery County Public Library Kentucky, and the Montgomery County Animal Shltr. 🏛️🍫✈️📚🐾

A HUGE thank you to all of our presenters and hosts for welcoming us, sharing your time and knowledge, and giving our LMC Class of 2027 a closer look at what makes our community so special!

Today, the Leadership Montgomery County Class of 2027 gathered to pitch their group project ideas. We’re excited to see these ideas take shape and look forward to the impact this class will make in our community!

The class also presented the board with an engraved set of sticks (If you know you know! 😉) in a beautiful leather carrying case as a special thank-you for a successful retreat. We are so grateful for their thoughtfulness!
