Check out the first edition of the 2026/27 Cub Connection newspaper, which serves as Sisson's weekly bulletin.

Issues are published on Monday mornings, and contain all the information you’ll need for the upcoming week, and much more. There are lunch menus and a calendar of events, as well as sports coverage, staff spotlights, community news, and information about what our students are up to during the day.

We're ready to take enrollments, accept immunization records for incoming 7th graders who need their Tdaps, or to answer any questions you have!

The first day of school is August 19.

Join us for LUNCH ON THE LAWN tomorrow, June 5!

4th and 5th grade lunch is 12:30-1:10 p.m.

6th grade lunch is 12:05-12:45 p.m.

7th and 8th grade lunch is 11:45 a.m.-12:25 p.m.

The cafeteria will be serving pizza. There is also a salad bar! Parents can order a cafeteria lunch by calling the office before 9 a.m. The cost is $7.25 per lunch for adults (they’re always free for students!) You can also bring your student a special lunch to share.

Our motto is, “No one eats alone.” If you’re unable to attend, your child will not be eating alone and if you are able to attend, invite others to join you.

Please sign in at the Sisson office or at the outside table to receive your visitor’s pass.

Bring a lawn chair or blanket, there are minimal tables.

Please remember if you’re planning to bring food for others, it must be prepared in a commercial kitchen, not homemade.

Parents, remind your child if they have food allergies or intolerances not to take food from others.

No pets please.

The May 12, 2026, Board Meeting will be held in the Boardroom at the District Office located at 595 E. Alma St, Mt. Shasta. The closed session will begin at 5:30 PM, followed by the open session at 6:00 PM. Hope to see you there!
