District 59 Early Learning Center The Early Learning Center, adjacent to Holmes Junior High School, serves the needs of all preschool

The District and the Board of Education expect that participants will treat each other with respect. Posted comments that contain vulgar or abusive language; po*******hy; personal attacks of any kind; offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups or incite violence or violate District and/or Board policies may result in disciplinary action for students even if these offenses did not

occur on school grounds or during school hours. The District will delete offensive comments including those that are spam, are clearly “off topic” or that promote services or products, and will make every effort to do so within a reasonable time frame, allowing for the manual nature of the removal process. The District reserves the right to remove any post without providing a reason. The District reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information the District has) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any of your posts. By contributing to this forum, you consent to your post being altered, edited, or adapted in any way the District sees fit.

ELC families had a wonderful time at Literacy & Learning Night, enjoying engaging stories, interactive activities, and hands-on games that brought books and learning to life! Seeing children and families sharing the joy of learning and strengthening early literacy skills was heartwarming. A special thank you to our incredible library partners for their support and participation—your dedication to fostering a love of reading in young learners made this event memorable! Due to today's forecast for extreme and deteriorating weather conditions during the school day, all CCSD59 schools will be closed on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. This will be treated as an E-learning day. ELC students can access the E-Learning packet previously shared with families. This day will not need to be made up at the end of the year. Your child’s teacher will be in contact today via Seesaw.
For families with a scheduled conference today, your child's teacher will reach out to you regarding this.
