In education, fashions come and go.
What is beautiful about Charlotte Mason’s view is that it corresponds to the way things really are. It aims to provide the child with a balanced approach in which his various needs will be met; he will be able to know objective truths and form relationships within life.
Charlotte Mason respected the unity of the person: mind, soul (or spirit), and his physical self. Everything comes under the direction of the Great Giver of all wisdom and life, the Holy Spirit.
