Team Oceanside Parents' Page This group is here to celebrate our journey as parents of Oceanside Collegiate Academy students. Disagreements are natural, but please express them courteously.

Whether you're new to OCA or have been here for years, this space was created to connect families, share information, and cheer on our incredible students. *Purpose of the Group: This group is created to foster a supportive and informative community for current OCA parents. Our primary goal is to facilitate positive connections among families, share helpful school-related information, and celebrate our students' achievements and the school's mission.
*Connect and Support Families: Use this space to connect with other OCA families, ask general questions about school events or activities, share tips, and offer encouragement.
*Maintain a Positive and Respectful Environment: All interactions should be positive, constructive, and respectful. Personal attacks, bullying, or inflammatory language will not be tolerated.
*No Naming or Derogatory Comments about Staff/Students: To maintain a professional and respectful environment, please refrain from naming individual staff members (teachers, administrators, coaches, etc.) or students in posts or comments, especially when expressing concerns or negative feedback. Issues regarding specific individuals should always be directed through official school channels (e.g., email, phone calls to the school office).
*Keep Discussions General and Constructive: This group is not a forum for airing grievances about specific incidents, policies, or individual classroom issues. If you have a specific concern, please contact the relevant school department or administrator directly
No Solicitation or Self-Promotion: Please do not post advertisements, solicitations, or self-promotional content.
*Respect Privacy: Do not share private information about other students, families, or staff members without their explicit consent.
*Stay On-Topic: Please keep discussions relevant to Oceanside Collegiate Academy and its community.
*Adherence to School Policies: All members are expected to uphold the values and policies of Oceanside Collegiate Academy.
*Moderator Discretion: Group administrators reserve the right to remove any posts or comments that violate these rules and to remove members who repeatedly disregard them.

The Freshmen Welcome with Principal Brown scheduled for today, Monday, August 11 at 1-2pm is cancelled due to flooding and inclement weather. All students should follow their schedules in PowerSchool for tomorrow, our first school day. The ninth grade class, R.E.E.F., will help support the transition from middle school to high school. 🦈
