Memminger Elementary School received a wealth of "GOOD THINGS" today!!! We have been nationally recognized as a Capturing Kids Hearts National Showcase School AND we are now internationally recognized as an International Baccalaureate World School! We are OVERJOYED!
Memminger has experienced remarkable outcomes with Capturing Kids’ Hearts tools and processes, creating the socio-emotional safety conducive to learning. The Flippen Group is recognizing and celebrating schools that go the extra mile each day, building an environment where students are relationally connected and eager to learn. We are so proud to be a Capturing Kids Hearts National Showcase School!
For the past few years, Memminger has been working so hard to implement the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and truly shifting the way we see and teach the whole child. Our inquiry based, personalized approach to education has been a success at Memminger and we could not be more proud.

14 Books That Connect Students With Valuable Scientists’ Struggles A study found that students who read about famous scientists' personal and intellectual struggles do better in their science classes. Librarians helped us put together a list of books that detail some of those struggles.
