We are so incredibly grateful for the blessings God continues to pour out on Mount Pleasant Christian School!
Mount Pleasant Christian School ranked
#1 Best Christian K-12 Schools in Iowa
#1 Best Christian High schools in Iowa
#3 Best Private K-12 Schools in Iowa
While we are so thankful for these rankings, what means the most to us is what they represent-the dedication of our teachers and staff, the support of our families, the hard work of our students, and a school community committed to academic excellence and Kingdom building. We are truly thankful for everyone who makes MPCS such a special place to learn grow, and follow Christ.

🙏See You at the Pole Day!🙏

We were grateful to once again take part in See You at the Pole, a prayer event that brings students together at school flagpoles around the world. While many students gather before school, we have the special opportunity to pray together as a whole school family during our school day.

We prayed for our school, surrounding schools, classmates, families, our nation, and our world. This year’s theme, “Come to Me,” reminds us of Jesus’ invitation: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28.

We are thankful for this opportunity each year to pause and bring our school communities before the Lord.

Our hearts and prayers are especially with the Iowa City Community School District as they grieve the tragic loss of a student and a teacher. May we across Iowa remember their families, classmates, colleagues, and everyone affected by this tragedy in prayer.

🌮❤️ Taco Tuesday Sponsors Needed! ❤️🌮

Our Taco Tuesday fundraiser is a fun way to bring our community together. We are looking for sponsors to help with the grocery expenses needed to make each Taco Tuesday possible.

Every sponsorship makes a difference and helps us keep this fundraiser going. We are so grateful for the businesses, families, and friends who continue to support our school! ❤️

Thank you so much! ❤️

🇺🇸 We Will Never Forget September 11, 2001

Twenty-five years ago, our nation experienced a tragedy that forever changed our country.

Mt. Pleasant Christian School pauses today to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We continue to hold in prayer the families and loved ones who have carried their memories through these past 25 years.

We remember with honor and gratitude the brave heroes who gave their lives while saving others, and the first responders who worked tirelessly in the hours, days, weeks, and months that followed.

We also remember the remarkable unity, compassion, and patriotism that swept across our country in the aftermath of the attacks. In the midst of tremendous sorrow, Americans came together to pray, serve, comfort, and support one another.

May we teach the next generation to remember this day with reverence and respect.

We remember the lives lost.
We honor the heroes.
We pray for their families.
We will never forget.
