Gannon and DuFort switched roles today in MS History. It was a great way to get the other students excited and paying attention!

A few of my favorite things I overheard Gannon say during his lesson that made me think he is meant to be a teacher:

"Is anyone even listening to me?"
"I'm going to need a chair"
"I don't feel like y'all are appreciating my work here"🤣

We invite families to a free evening focused on navigating screen time, social media, youth mental health, resilience, and family connection.

Tracey Galgoci, MA, LPC, a licensed professional counselor with 23 years of experience supporting children and families, will share practical strategies families can use at home, including:

✅ Setting realistic screen-time boundaries
✅ Strengthening family communication
✅ Better understanding social media and screen use
✅ Encouraging play, problem-solving, and healthy routines.

Join us on October 15 at 6:00 pm in the auditorium.

The session is free for all families, and childcare will be provided. Register today: https://bit.ly/4haFeeZ

The Odyssey Student Council is seeking community support for our 9th Annual Tree Trunk or Treat, a free Halloween event for local families planned, built, and facilitated by our students.

We would greatly appreciate your consideration of a donation to help make this year’s event a success. Needed items include sealed bags of candy, donuts, pumpkins, decorations, plates, cups, and napkins. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated.

Your support helps our students give back to their community through service and volunteerism. In appreciation, we will publicly recognize our donors on a display at the event and can provide a donation receipt upon request.

Thank you for considering supporting this special community event and our students. Any contribution you are able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

Contact: Brian DuFort or Dave Gutierrez

A student team from our ONP class hiked the full trail system today, mapping out the trails and recording the distances for a future full property trail map. Got a little plant identification in while we were at it.
