🌱 Garden Club — Week 4! 🌱

This week we explored the garden with all five senses! 👀👂👃🖐️👅

The kids used a five senses worksheet to slow down and really notice what was happening around them — what they could see, hear, smell, touch and, of course, taste! 😋

We had another garden snack this week, too. The bell peppers from last week made another appearance in a new sauce, this time with a special addition straight from the garden: fresh basil! 🌿

And, as always, our thirsty plants needed plenty of water. 💦 There was lots of watering, exploring and discovering happening in the garden this week.

Growing food, using our senses, and learning as we go. 🌱💚

Y’all, our High Flyers sure know a thing or two about Dolly! 💗🤠📚

We had so much fun celebrating our first Dolly Day — dressing Dolly-inspired, sharing a few laughs, and most importantly, celebrating Dolly Parton’s incredible love of literacy.

Our High Flyers brought in gently used books to help put more stories into the hands of kids who need them. 💕📖

Big hair, big hearts & a whole lotta love for books — that’s a Dolly Day well spent! ✨

09/26/2026

Our Teacher Appreciation Committee worked 9 to 5 to make Dolly Day extra special! 💕🤠

A huge thank you to Crave for sponsoring our staff lunch, the Joyful Florist for helping create a beautiful floral arrangement and to the amazing volunteers who covered lunch duty so our teachers could relax and enjoy! ✨

And of course, no Dolly Day would be complete without a special appearance by Dolly herself! 😉😉
