Do you have a passion for supporting children and families? We're seeking a Family Support Specialist to serve families in Henry and Washington Counties through the Parents as Teachers program.

In this role, you'll work directly with families to:
✅Support healthy child development
✅ Strengthen parent-child relationships
✅ Connect families with community resources
✅ Empower parents through research-based education and support

Position Details:
- Based in Mount Pleasant (Henry County)
- Full-time position
- $22/hour
- Applications accepted through October 30, 2026 (or until filled)

Qualified candidates should have a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social work, psychology, health, or a related field, along with a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of local families.

🚨UPDATE: the parade has been canceled!

RAIN OR SHINE — WE’RE READY FOR HOMECOMING! ☔🍀

Henry County 4-H will still be joining the Winfield-Mt. Union Homecoming Parade TONIGHT, and all of our 4-H members and Clover Kids are invited to join us!

🌧️ A quick weather note: It looks like we may have quite a bit of rain during parade time. If you plan to walk with us, please come prepared with a raincoat, umbrella, and shoes you don’t mind getting wet!

We absolutely understand if your family decides that walking in the rain isn’t for you — there is no expectation for our members to walk in poor weather. You’re still welcome to join us; we just want everyone to know what to expect and dress accordingly!

🍀 Lineup: 6:00 PM by the school
We’ll use that time to add some 4-H decorations to the pickup before we get rolling!

🍀 Parade begins: 6:30 PM

And if walking with us isn’t in the cards tonight, grab an umbrella and come out to watch the parade and support our Winfield-Mt. Union community!

We’re excited to show a little Henry County 4-H spirit at Homecoming — even if it’s a soggy one! ☔💚🍀

🍀 Henry County 4-H is hitting the Homecoming Parade route!

We thought it would be fun to get out in our communities, show off our 4-H pride, and have some fun while we’re at it! We’re inviting ALL Henry County 4-H members, Clover Kids, and families to join us for one—or both!—of our upcoming Homecoming Parades!

📍 Winfield-Mt. Union — Wednesday, September 30
Lineup at 6:00 PM by the school | Parade at 6:30 PM

📍 Mount Pleasant — Friday, October 2
Lineup at 2:30 PM by the library | Parade at 3:01 PM

Wear your Henry County 4-H gear or green & white, and come ready to have some fun! We’ll have signs and props to carry, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own 4-H spirit too! 🍀
