And that’s a wrap on Agency tours! Last week we spent the day in Detroit, starting the day by visiting Franco and then followed right after with visiting Ford Field with Kara Agby, a CMU Alumni.

We were able to engage in meaningful discussions while also gaining a great real-world idea of what PR is like after graduation! Thanks, Franco, and Ford Field!

Last week, at our Wednesday meeting, we had the opportunity to hear from Rachel Perkins, Founder & Chief Strategist at Venturesome Strategies, as she led a real client exercise with Tony Bailey, a registered nurse at Sparrow Specialty Hospital and author of The Nurse Who Beat Wall Street. Tony Bailey, as the client, had a few objectives that the students worked through, including the best way to generate awareness for his book. Overall, this was a fun, hands on experience!

Thank you Rachel Perkins and Tony Bailey for joining us!

Last Thursday was our Duck Derby Fundraiser, where we watched hundreds of ducks race down the Soaring Eagle water park’s Lazy River!
