Today we were joined by CMU dining to answer student questions and hear feedback. However our time ran short, if your questions wasn’t ask or you couldn’t attend and have a question send them to the SGA email: [email protected] SGA is a student government association that wants CMU students to feel seen and heard, our goal is to make CMU work for you! If you have any other questions or concerns about things on campus do not hesitate to reach out to us!

We’d also like to inform our student body about our fire up fidgets. These are sensory items that we allow any student or student organizations to take for up to three days! Make sure to check them out!

We will not be meeting next week due to fall break so we will see you all again on 10/19! Fire up! 🔥☝️

Dining Services is joining us Monday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m. Scan the QR code and submit your questions ahead of time so we can make sure we bring them to the table. You’ll also have a chance to ask questions during the meeting! 🔥👆🥙

We held our second SGA meeting today! ❤️💛

Tonight, we discussed several updates and topics that directly impact students, including room booking concerns, the approval of Honors minors, and sustainability initiatives like a potential $5 fee to help fund additional water refill stations.
We also officially swore in our new senate.

Our President and Vice President also shared updates from their recent 1-on-1 with CMUs President Neil MacKinnon, including discussions about an emergency tuition fund to support students facing unexpected financial challenges. We also talked about the dining hall and Merrill weekend hours and Thanksgiving break, including the possibility of having no classes on the Wednesday before break to give students more time to travel home.
