The Student Government at Crown Leadership Academy is hosting a food drive for The Lowcountry Food Bank.
Every day, the Lowcountry Food Bank is leading the fight against hunger in our community. Their data and experience indicate that food insecurity remains a severe problem in coastal South Carolina, impacting nearly 10% of our neighbors.
Crown's Student Government wants to do its part to help in that fight. We will be collecting non-perishable food items for the entire month of November.
The student government will take a field trip at the end of the month to drop the donations off! The collecting will begin today and end on November 30th (Thursday). The collection boxes will be in the front of the school by Mrs. Candice's desk and Mrs. Hannah's homeroom.
