Good Things: Opportunities! The P.E. teachers were able to introduce and give willing students a try at wrestling this week. Mr. Cline, who has been wrestling for 40 years and coaches the high school wrestling team, led the classes. He also provided them with information regarding the upcoming wrestling season that begins October 21st.

Good Things at MPMS: Awareness. Last week, our 8th-grade students had the profound privilege of listening to a powerful presentation by Coach Terry Hessbrook, founder of the B #4 Foundation.

The B #4 Foundation was established to honor the memory of Coach Hessbrook’s son, Brady, with a mission to break the stigma surrounding youth mental health. During the assembly, Coach Hessbrook shared a deeply moving and vital message focused on depression, anxiety, and su***de prevention. His presentation emphasized the critical importance of mental health awareness, encouraging students to look out for one another, speak up when they are struggling, and understand that it is always okay to ask for help.
