I was reading โThe Untethered Soulโ and came across a chapter regarding death. It talked about how we as humans fear death.
Especially as parents. We fear losing our kids. Or fear something may happen to us and our kids will have to grow up without us.

When someone knows they are close to death, they have a peace about them. They have accepted death and no longer fear it.
If you are like me, the fear of death has stopped you from getting on that plane. Or taking that trip. Or simply put - LIVING.
When reading this book, it created a space to look at death as not bad but as a friend.
Death is the one thing that is looking out for us and trying to keep us on track of living.
We canโt cheat death. We arenโt Devon Sawa (๐) from ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป.
It is the only thing we can depend on without fail. We will die. We may lose our loved ones. It is inevitable.
Death isnโt going to skip us.
Some of us donโt START living until AFTER weโve experienced death. Others never do because the fear over takes their lives.
When we look at death as our friend. Or the one thing that is looking out for us, we can start to see the world differently.
WE ARE REMINDED WHAT IT MEANS TO LIVE FULLY.
We will meet death eventually so why not live the best life we can so when that time comes, we have NO REGRETS.
Death keeps us grounded. It gives us the gift to see what is in front of us rather than live in our imaginations of all that COULD HAPPEN.
I started to feel closer to death after losing Terese but never understood why until seeing death as an ally instead of an enemy.
As fear is inevitable, it is an imposter. Having you think it is keeping you safe when really it has you stuck. Stagnant.
Try on the idea that death can actually be looking out for you. Giving you the chance to dance without judgment. Doing the work your heart is meant to do. Love unconditionally.
What are the possibilities?!?
