Good luck to our MPJH Cross Country teams as they hit the road for competition! Our boys are headed to the Gilmer Buckeye Invitational, while our girls are traveling to the Tyler Legacy Invitational. FIRST MEET OF THE SEASON!

Our Junior High Cross Country teams kicked off their season today at the Clay Minton Invitational in Sulphur Springs, and our Tigers came ready to run!
We’re proud of the effort and determination shown by each of our runners as they took on their first race of the season!

BOYS
🏅 Samuel Erickstad — 9th place — 13:38.37
• Aaron Mendoza — 16:10.61

GIRLS
🏅 Abrielle Reeves — 11th place — 15:17.49
• Ariana Rios — 16:29.38
• Genesis Ortiz — 21:18.04

This is just the beginning! We can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes as the season continues. If your JH student is interested in joining please see Coach Jesse Morris (Boys) or Coach Martina Gutierrez (Girls) to sign up for the next meet!
