✨ HELP US GLOW, GROW & CREATE! ✨

MP Tigers, we could use your help stocking two important spaces in our school—our Clothing Closet and our STEAM space!

👕 CLOTHING CLOSET DONATIONS NEEDED

Boys:
• Pants: sizes L–XL and 4–6
• Shorts: sizes L–XL, 4–6, and 7–10
• NEW/unused underpants: all sizes

Girls:
• Pants: sizes L–XL
• Shorts: sizes L–XL and 7–10
• NEW/unused underpants: all sizes

We are currently good on shirts for both boys and girls.
Baby wipes for cleanups would also be greatly appreciated!

🔬💡 STEAM DONATIONS NEEDED

Help us build, create, and explore! We are looking for:

• Masking tape
• Used LEGOs that are no longer needed
• Gently used STEM-based toys, such as Magna-Tiles, marble runs, and snowflake interlocking blocks
• Empty toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls
• Empty Kleenex boxes
• Play-Doh

Donated STEAM materials will help provide our students with more opportunities to create, explore, problem-solve, and innovate! 🌟

All donations can be dropped off in the front office.

Mount Pleasant Elementary Open House is just ONE WEEK away! We look forward to seeing all our families on August 10th from 5-7:00PM.

We invite you to bring your family to meet your teacher, buy spirit wear, and get bus and car rider information. Kona Ice will be on campus for purchase as well.

Families will receive a phone call from their teacher on or prior to August 10th for classroom assignment.

If you are not able to be present at open house, all documents and shared items will be sent home on our first day of school, August 12th. Open House is a drop in event, so feel free to join us anytime between 5-7 PM. We can't wait to kick off our new school year with you!

Our future is looking BRIGHT! 🌟🐯💛

This week, we had so much fun welcoming our newest kindergarten students to Kindergarten Camp! 🎒✏️

From making new friends, to exploring classrooms and meeting our amazing teachers, our little learners got a great start to their elementary school journey.

We can't wait to see all of our kindergarteners back soon for an incredible year of learning, growing, and making memories together! ❤️📚

Mount Pleasant Community member business owners-- we need YOU for a project this year called "Business Buddies-- Lit Up for Literacy."

We’re excited to launch a special opportunity to support independent reading at MPES! If you or someone in your family owns or works for a local business, we’d love to invite you to partner with one of our classrooms this year.

Our goal is to help every student develop a love for reading and build strong reading habits. By partnering with a classroom, local businesses can help encourage, celebrate, and support our
students’ reading journeys in fun and meaningful ways.
