Some of our “Lit up for Literacy: Business Buddies” partners started off their partnerships today! We are so excited that our community, local business and Tigers can come together to support literacy!

Thank you to Buddy’s Place for the meal certificates for our first grade readers and to Coldwell Banker-CK Select for supporting Ms. Ervin’s classroom as a partner, bringing treats and new books for her students!

We can’t wait to visit with and share the rest of our partnerships over the next few weeks! 📚🐅

10 More, 10 Less, DASH into Math! 🔟🤖

Our 2nd graders put their math skills into motion with a little help from Dash robots! Students used Dash and its ball launcher to aim and shoot for the targets, then they practiced identifying 10 more and 10 less than the target number. 🎯

Combining math, technology, and a little friendly competition made for an engaging, hands-on learning experience! Who knew place value could be this much fun?! 💙💛🐯
