ECMCS Middle School Volleyball Needs YOU!

Our middle school volleyball teams are looking for a few parents who are willing to volunteer as coaches and help our girls have another great season!

They have so much fun playing, competing, and most importantly spending time together as a team. These girls LOVE volleyball! 💚

Practices are 1–2 times per week at the Mount Pleasant Town Hall gym, behind Whole Foods.

You don't have to be a professional coach—just someone willing to give your time, encourage our girls, and help them learn and grow!

What do Montessori educators do in Italy? They visit the very first Casa De Bambini, of course! It was opened in 1907 and is still in operation in its original location. It was so inspiring to walk the grounds that Maria walked and see the place it all began 120 years ago!

Today, our school honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country through our Missing Man Table display.
Every item on the table carries meaning — the empty chair, the folded flag, the single rose, the candle, the slice of lemon, and the untouched plate — each serving as a quiet reminder of those who are missing from our gatherings because they gave everything in service to others.

As Memorial Day approaches, we pause to remember that freedom is never free. We are grateful for the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of our fallen service members and the families who continue to carry their memory forward.

May we teach our students not only to celebrate freedom, but also to honor the cost at which it came. 🇺🇸

Travel through time this summer at Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) with the 2026 Endless Eras, Endless Stories Summer Reading Program.
