Do NOT pay out extra money for self-rising flour. Make your own

Making self-rising flour at home is easy. Just use this basic formula: For every 1 cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon fine salt

It's a beautiful day today. Started my morning off very rough with continuous migraine and digestive fun. After some rest I got up and greeted a perfect summer day. Don't mind the wind blown hair. I decided to put on a dress. I have always hated dresses due to my struggle with my weight but I'm starting to find self confidence. Definitely a big credit for that goes to my husband. He is always supportive and loving and compliments me.
I got this dress last summer at Target. People called it part of the little house on the Prarie line but it looks nothing like that show lol. I love it.

Here is another super healthy of my favorite smoothies.

Breakfast is Berry important. Berries are high in antioxidants.

1 c frozen unsweetened raspberries
¾ c chilled unsweetened almond or chashew milk
¼ c frozen pitted unsweetened cherries 1½ Tbsp honey or agave
2 tsp finely grated fresh ginger
1 tsp ground flaxseed
¼ tsp tumeric
2 tsp fresh lemon juice.

This is one heck of a natural booster to get your morning started right

Thought I would share a few of my favorite healthy smoothies. Here is one that is good for the heart

Banana Ginger Smoothie
This takes 2 servings.
Combine 1 sliced banana, ¾ c
(6 oz) vanilla yogurt
1 Tbsp honey
½ tsp freshly grated ginger.
¼ tsp turmeric

Ginger helps with stomach problems with its amazing anti-inflammatory properties, so drinking this healthful drink can relieve digestion pains, heartburn, and nausea. Moreover, it only carries about 150 calories, 1 gram of fat, and a wide range of antioxidants between the ginger, yogurt, and banana.

Today someone I respect very much suggested to me that I should start sharing some of my own personal tips and things with others as they have found them helpful in their life. This was incredibly flattering to hear as I didn't think I ever really had any kind of impact on anyone.
So I decided to give it a go. I'm not sure what all to share. So I guess if yall want to give me some feedback that would be great. Anything from money saving sale, penny pinching, crafts, gadgets it find etc. I am all ears.

Ticks hate the smell of lemon, orange, cinnamon, lavender, peppermint, and rose geranium so they'll avoid latching on to anything that smells of those items. Any of these or a combination can be used in DIY sprays or added to almond oil and rubbed on exposed skin.

Now that we are heading into spring many are recovering from dry flaky winter skin.
Well did you know that baking soda will help?
During the winter that is how I keep my skin soft and hydrated.
However many still need those dead skin cells removed. After all that's blocking the skin from being hydrated.

Go get yourself a big box of baking soda. Put a few cups into a container and add water and make a paste.
Using your bare hands rub n scrub all over your body.
Rinse then wash with a normal hydrating body wash.
Goatmilk or buttermilk soaps are amazing.

Have an ant issue but hate spraying chemicals around where your kids and animals are?
PEPPER.........JUST PEPPER
Both cayenne and black pepper repel ants. Ants hate cayenne pepper. Black pepper will work just as well too. Locate the source of the ant infestation problem, sprinkle some pepper around that area and if possible, create a wall that will stop the ants from accessing your household..
An alternative solution is to mix some pepper with water and spray the resulting solution at the ants. The pepper won’t kill the ants but it sure will deter them from returning.
