Good afternoon, Mount Nebo families!

I wanted to let everyone know that, due to our Krispy Kreme donut pickup today, we have a larger-than-usual number of students staying after school and not riding their regular buses home. Because there will be fewer students riding the buses this afternoon, some bus routes may move more quickly than usual. This means your child’s bus could arrive at their bus stop earlier than its normal arrival time.

Please do not rely on your child’s usual bus arrival time this afternoon. We ask that a parent/guardian or authorized person be at the bus stop and ready to receive your child earlier than usual so that no student is left without someone there to meet them.

I also want to remind all of our bus families about an important transportation procedure. If someone other than a parent/guardian will be receiving your child at the bus stop, you must send a written note to school or call the school to let us know. That person must also be listed as an authorized person on your child’s Green Card.

Please remember that changes to a student’s Green Card cannot be made through a written note or phone call. A parent/guardian must physically come into the school to add or remove an authorized person from the Green Card.

If someone other than a parent/guardian is going to receive your child at the bus stop and we have not received a written note or phone call, the bus driver will not release your child to that person. Your child will be returned to Mount Nebo Elementary, and a parent/guardian will need to come to the school to pick up your child.

These transportation procedures are in place for the safety of our students. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us make sure every child gets home safely.

🚨🍩 IMPORTANT — DONUT PICK-UP DELAYED! 🍩🚨

Due to an issue with Krispy Kreme’s delivery carrier, our donuts were NOT delivered today.

The Krispy Kreme General Manager will be delivering our order TOMORROW.

⚠️ PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE FOR PICK-UP BEFORE 2:40 PM.
We cannot open the doors to families picking up donuts until school dismisses at 2:40 PM.

REMINDER!!!

Krispy Kreme Donut and coffee pick up will be at Mt. Nebo Elementary tomorrow, October 1st from 2:40 p.m. – 5 p.m. If you plan on picking up your child along with your orders, please send a note instructing the teacher to keep your child(ren) in the gym. Please use the side door that goes directly into the gymnasium/cafeteria. Call the school if you have any questions. Please remember we will not open the doors to families picking up orders until 2:40 p.m. when school is out of session for the day. Thank you!
