Get those smiles ready, Panthers! Picture Day is Thursday, October 8th!

One important reminder when choosing that picture-perfect outfit: students should NOT wear green, as green is used with the photography background technology.

It’s time to bring the energy, have some fun, and show what it means to be a Mt. Morris Panther!

Next week (September 28th - October 2nd) is all about coming together as a school community, showing our creativity, and making some great memories along the way. Each day will bring a new opportunity to participate, laugh with friends, and fill our hallways with Panther spirit.

Whether you go ALL OUT or keep it simple, we want everyone to join in! Spirit Week is always better when students AND staff get involved.

As we celebrate, let’s remember that Panther spirit is about more than what we wear.

We Show Our Pride with PAWS every day by:

🐾 Practicing Kindness
🐾 Acting Safely
🐾 Working Together
🐾 Showing Accountability

So, Panthers…check out next week’s themes, start planning those outfits, and get ready to show us what you’ve got!

What a day at Mt. Morris Middle School! 💙🐾

Today, our Panthers had the opportunity to hear from Joe Beckman, and his message was one our students and adults needed to hear.

What is YOUR legacy?

Joe reminded us about the power of human connection, showing up for one another, and recognizing that the way we treat people matters. Every interaction is an opportunity to make someone feel seen, valued, and like they belong.

And perhaps the biggest question he left our Panthers with:

What will your legacy be?

Our students laughed, participated, reflected, and hopefully walked away thinking a little differently about the impact they can have on the people around them. A difference maker, a difference taker or a faker?!

Thank you, Joe Beckman, for bringing the energy, the laughs, and—most importantly—the message. We loved having you at Mt. Morris Middle School!

💙 I love your face! 💙

We started introducing this to students today at the middle school!
