Another summer has flown by in what feels like the blink of an eye!

One of our greatest joys each year is welcoming back our returning campers who we have come to know over several years. It never ceases to amaze us how they grow - especially when it is our last summer with some of those we have known since they were 5. Equally, meeting our brand-new campers, whose energy instantly became part of the Camp Laurel spirit, is just as big of a part of our happiness as well.

This summer brought exciting new experiences and some new core memory making: goat yoga that had us stretching and laughing in equal measure and trip to cheer on the Jersey Shore BlueClaws, These adventures blended perfectly with our traditions, making 2025 another memorable season.

Of course, none of these moments would be possible without our extraordinary counselors. They are the heart and soul of Camp Laurel—mentors, role models, cheerleaders, and sometimes even a shoulder to lean on. Their energy, patience, and creativity turn activities into adventures and friendships into lifelong bonds. We are endlessly grateful for the way they pour their hearts into making every camper feel valued, supported, and inspired.

Although it’s much warmer than in Frozen, Olaf gave us a quote that endures all weather - “Some people are worth melting for.” We certainly did more than a little melting this summer for all of our campers!

Thank you for trusting us with your most valuable treasures—your children—and for allowing us to be part of their journey. It is a privilege we never take for granted.

No disrespect but today we have the beef… and a little bit of everything else. Nothing like feeding 350 kids and staff on a nice warm July today! Thanks to our families for all of the donations to feed the masses!

Don’t mind us… we’re just climbing all over every thing here!
