Our Rising Dragons will once again step onto the Judo mats this August for two special training days focused on building essential martial arts skills. Through combining Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu and Judo training, students will learn the importance of safe falling, balance, movement, footwork and working with a partner—all while developing confidence, coordination, and body awareness.
These lessons go beyond the mat and help our young martial artists become more well-rounded, adaptable, and confident in every area of their training.

Why did generations of Chinese martial artists consider the staff the “Father of All Weapons”?
The answer isn't simply because it was one of the earliest weapons. It’s because the lessons learned through staff training carry into nearly every aspect of martial arts—from movement and coordination to timing, power, balance, and body mechanics.
In his latest article, Master Keith Mazza explores the unique benefits of training the Shaolin Staff and Wing Chun Dragon Pole, and why these two traditional weapons complement each other so well.

And stay tuned for Part Two, where he takes the training beyond the forms and into practical applications and partner training.

I would like to congratulate Ryan Lebiedzinski on successfully passing his Sifu Level (Level 10) Test.
Ryan, watching your journey over the years has been something I have truly appreciated. I've had the privilege of knowing you, both as a student and a brilliant artist. Throughout that time, you have consistently carried yourself with humility, kindness, and respect.
You continue to show up with an open mind, a willingness to learn, and a quiet confidence that inspires those around you.
The responsibility of a Sifu is not only to continue perfecting the art, but to lead by example and help shape the next generation of students with the same patience, humility, and dedication that brought you here.
I am very proud of what you have accomplished. Continue to train. Continue to learn. Continue to honor the art through your actions.
Congratulations,
Master Keith Mazza

We want to personally thank everyone who came out to train at Sifu Keith Mazza Jr’s MIX IT UP WORKSHOP.
Your willingness to step outside your comfort zone, ask questions, work hard, and challenge yourselves is what makes these events so rewarding. Every time we get together, we have the opportunity to sharpen our skills, pressure-test our techniques, and deepen our understanding of the art.
Remember, techniques alone don’t make a martial artist. It’s your mindset, consistency, and willingness to keep learning that determine your growth.
Thank you for your time, your effort, and the energy you brought to the training floor. Keep working. Keep questioning. Keep evolving.
