Happy Saturday Families! We marched our way into this new month reading new books, celebrating Dr. Seuss, and getting ready for the exciting studies coming up in our classrooms. The children have been enjoying stories, laughter, and lots of creative learning along the way. Last week ended on a fun note with Silly Hair Friday, which brought plenty of smiles, giggles, and colorful hairstyles throughout the center. Moments like these remind us how joyful learning can be when we mix imagination, creativity, and a little bit of silliness together. 📚🎉

What an AMAZING month we had at Bright Beginnings!

February was filled with so much joy, learning, and love. Our children celebrated friendships and kindness in the sweetest ways., sharing, caring, and reminding us that even the smallest hearts can hold the biggest love. Even a few snow days we were able to enjoy at school.

Some of our little innovators explored creativity and movement by designing and building “traffic” just like the great inventor Garrett Morgan, who created the three-position traffic signal that helps keep our roads safe today. Watching their imaginations at work was truly inspiring!

Others proudly dressed up as the very first African American astronaut, Dr. Guion “Guy” Bluford, learning that the sky is never the limit when you dream big and work hard. Seeing their confidence shine as they stepped into history was a beautiful reminder of why representation matters.

Now we are stepping into March with excitement as we celebrate Women’s History Month, Read Across America, and all the wonderful possibilities that come with spring. We are ready for new books, new growth, and hopefully some early sunshine!

Here’s to another month of learning, laughter, and little leaders in the making. 🌸📚✨

Happy Presidents’ Day, Bright Beginnings Families! 🇺🇸

Today we honor the leaders who have helped shape our country. While school is closed, it’s a great day to enjoy simple, hands-on learning at home! Try reading a book about presidents, talking about what makes a good leader, or creating a fun patriotic craft together.

✨ Hello February! ✨

We’re just one week into February, and already this month is filled with so much meaning and excitement. At Bright Beginnings Child Care Center, we are proud to honor Black History Month by learning about influential Black leaders, celebrating culture, and having age-appropriate conversations about fairness, kindness, and respect. We are committed to helping our children understand that our differences are something to be celebrated and that every person’s story matters.

This month also gives us the chance to focus on love and kindness, how we show care for our friends, teachers, and families, and how we can be good helpers in our school community.

And of course, we are counting down to a big milestone… 100 days of school! 🎉📚 What an exciting accomplishment for our students and teachers alike.

Today we honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for his unwavering commitment to justice, equality, and peace. Dr. King believed in the power of education, service, and kindness to change the world, and he taught us that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. On this day, we reflect on his legacy and encourage our school community to practice empathy, stand up for what is right, and work together to make our world a more fair and loving place. 💙
