Jiu Jitsu Fundamentals: 3 Variations of the Knee-Elbow Escape. 1) Heel Drag 2) Toe Hook 3) Inside Butterfly Hook Details to remember: Bridge or bump to get your opponent’s weight forward so the legs are lighter. Shift to your hip while framing opponents hips. Once your first leg is free for variations 1 & 2, step over opponents calf for control. Options to Finish in closed guard, open guard, butterfly guard, shoulder crunch.
