Find Your Lonesome: When Voices Find Their Harmony is about discovering what happens when individual sounds become something bigger. August 17-22, 2027

This year, we’re diving into the High Lonesome Sound—not only through vocal harmony, but through the way instruments speak, answer, weave, and harmonize with one another. A fiddle line wraps around a voice. A mandolin finds the edge of a melody. Banjo, guitar, and bass create movement underneath it all. Voices become instruments, instruments become voices, and harmony becomes more than stacked notes—it becomes connection.

Rooted in Bill Monroe’s musical language, we’ll explore how melody, rhythm, phrasing, drive, vocal blend, and instrumental harmony come together to create that unmistakable bluegrass sound—and help you find your own place inside it.
