Open House will be on July 30th


6th Grade: 4pm - 5:30pm

7th/8th Grade: 5:30pm - 7pm


We are doing things differently this year to help streamline many of the process/procedures that tie up the first few weeks of school! We will have stations set up for families to rotate through and complete each task. In addition to the stations, you will have the opportunity to purchase yearbooks, MJMS swag, and locate your students' classrooms along the way! Make sure your student comes dressed to impressed, they will be taking their school picture at Open House this year!

Some stations set up to help our families:
Skyward Check to help register and ensure all documents are received.

Receive a paper copy of your student schedule and the course syllabus for all of their classes.

Students will complete their digital citizenship training required prior to receiving a school issued chromebook.

6th graders will receive their Chromebook (7th and 8th will receive theirs at the beginning of school)

Information on Parent GoGuardian to protect your student's Wi-Fi capabilities at home.

Information on Attendance Policies and Procedures and Skyward Gradebook

Learn about our Cave Reward System and receive their Cave shirt to wear on the first day of school!

A note of appreciation and thanks for the PTO from Mr. Nachand:

I’ve found myself at times getting caught up in areas that need improvement at MJMS or distracted by policy and adult conflict. What I don’t say nearly enough, though, is how special these past two years have been, in large part because of the incredible support from our PTO.
Please know that most—if not all—of our staff are truly appreciative of everything you do. Your efforts do not go unnoticed, and they make a meaningful difference for both our students and our staff each day.
I am sincerely grateful for your service and support. Thank you for all that you do for MJMS.

💰 The PTO raised $3,000 today! Thank you for your support as always. 🫶🏻
💛 Special thank you to our volunteers today: Annie Spohr, Michelle Newton, Jessica Hanchock, Jennifer Summers, Annie Pollard, Heather & Meagan Pollei, Amy Bonds, Cara Grimaldi and Jerry Chalk!
🖤 We also thank the parents who volunteered at other concession stands this year! This is a fun event, & if you’re looking to get more involved with PTO next year, concessions is a great way to do so! 🐻
