Lily Boulineau, was recently notified that UTK has selected her as the “Distinguished Tennessean” for Wilson County. This award comes with a full tuition scholarship to the University of Tennessee! Congratulations, Lily!
The Green Hill Men’s volleyball team finished 2nd place at this year’s state tournament. Congratulations to Seniors David Lee and Lincoln Witt, and Junior Jacob Abbott on being named to the all tournament team. Davis currently holds the Green Hill career record for kills, and Lincoln leads the state in blocks and broke 1000 career assists! Thanks to everyone for your support all season! Tryouts for next season’s team will be held June 15-17!
The "Be in the Zone,” or BITZ committee, with HOSA won the "Best Campaign" and the "Best PSA" contests for the year. This was done in partnership with Monroe Carrol Jr. Children's Hospital and Nissan. They recognized that the GH HOSA did an outstanding job and will be presenting them with a check for $1050!
Congratulations to the Men's and Women's track teams for their performances at the Track and Field Sectional Championships, where they competed against 1/4 of the AAA schools in the state. The men dominated the section, taking first with double the points of second place. The women finished as a very close runner-up.
