Covenant Family Child Care is a faith-based, full-time child care located in Mt. The child care was founded in 2004 and continues to grow under the supervision of Hickory Grove Presbyterian Church.

🍂🎃 FALL FESTIVAL UPDATE! 🎃🍂

Our little pumpkins may have to wait just a little longer for all the fall fun! ☔️

With rain in the forecast, we’ve made the decision to reschedule our Fall Festival. We want our CFCC families to be able to enjoy all the festivities without worrying about soggy costumes, muddy shoes, or rainy skies! 🍁

📅 NEW DATE: October 9th, 2026 (Friday)
⏰ TIME: 5PM-7PM

We know our kiddos have been looking forward to this special day, and we have too! We’re just moving the fun to a day when we can hopefully enjoy beautiful fall weather together. 🧡

We’ve been dropping a few little hints… and tomorrow, we finally get to show you what we’ve been working on! 👀

Tomorrow we’re revealing the new Covenant Family Child Care logo!

This new look is about so much more than colors and a logo. It was created to reflect who we are, what we value, and the kind of place we want CFCC to be for every child and family who walks through our doors:
A place to grow.
A place to belong.
A place to be loved. 💛

And this is only the first change you’ll see. Our new logo is just the beginning—there’s so much more growing at CFCC, and we can’t wait to share it with you. 🌱✨

💧🌎 Learning About Helping Others Around the World!

Our Community Helpers series took us beyond our own community this week! We were so excited to welcome Miss Christi from Healing Hands International, a Christian ministry serving families and communities around the world.

Miss Christi shared with our kids how something we use every single day—clean water—isn’t easily accessible to everyone. In some communities, women and children may spend hours walking to collect the water their families need. Through wells and water filtration systems, Healing Hands International helps provide access to clean, safe water. 💧

But the work doesn’t stop there! Miss Christi also told us about how she works with women to help them learn skills that can provide for their families—like growing food, raising animals, and making products to sell. When families have clean water nearby, women can spend less of their day searching for water and more time caring for their children, growing food, building businesses, and creating opportunities for their families. 🌱🐓

Our kids even got to see and learn about some of the tools used to make clean water possible!

We are so thankful to Miss Christi for spending time with us and helping our children see that a “community helper” can be someone who serves across the street or across the world. ❤️

What a wonderful opportunity to teach our little ones about compassion, service, and using what God has given us to help others.

Our new look is taking shape, and every color was chosen to reflect the warmth, joy, growth, and sense of belonging we want every child and family to experience here.

We’re not quite ready for the full reveal yet… but we thought we’d add a little more color to the mystery. 💛🌿

🚔 A Special Visit from Officer Cameron! 👮‍♂️

Our Community Helpers unit continued with a very exciting visit from Officer Cameron! He spent time with our kids talking about what it means to be a police officer, how police officers help keep our community safe, and some of the things he does each day on the job.

Of course, one of the highlights was getting to head outside and check out his police car up close! 🚓 The kids loved seeing the equipment, exploring the vehicle, and getting a peek into what a police officer’s workday looks like.

And Officer Cameron had one more surprise—each child received their very own goodie bag packaged in a real evidence bag! 🔎 They thought that was pretty cool!

We are so thankful to Officer Cameron for taking time to visit, answer lots of little questions, and give our children such a fun, hands-on learning experience. Experiences like these help our kids learn about the people who serve our community while making some pretty special memories along the way. 💚

👩‍⚕️⚙️🏦 Learning From Our Community Helpers!

Some of the best learning happens when we bring the real world into the classroom! ❤️

Our students have had some very special visitors recently as we’ve been learning about the people who help make our community a wonderful place to live, work, and grow.

We’ve welcomed a nurse, who taught our children about caring for others and helping people stay healthy; an engineer, who gave them a fun, hands-on look at technology, problem-solving, and how things work; and a banker, who introduced them to money, saving, and the important role banks play in our community.

We are so thankful for each of our community helpers who took time out of their day to share what they do with our children. Watching the kids ask questions, explore new ideas, and experience these careers up close is what makes learning so much fun! 🌱

At Covenant Family Child Care, we love creating opportunities for our children to learn, explore, and discover the world around them—and maybe even inspire a few dreams about what they want to be when they grow up! 💛
