When you're still learning chord shapes, the shape of the guitar matters. The Taylor Academy 10e has a slightly shorter scale than many dreadnoughts, which keeps stretches a little more comfortable, and the armrest takes the edge off long practice sessions. It has a built-in pickup and tuner, so it's ready for an open mic when you are. Used, with a gig bag. We keep a few around for anyone asking where to start.

Giving this ESP a setup before it ships! All of our guitars get in house set ups, and we go over them one more time before shipping.

Alvarez Yairi guitars are built by hand at the Yairi workshop in Japan, and this DYMR70SB is all solid wood: spruce on top, rosewood back and sides. The bracing is hand carved and scalloped so the top can move freely, which is a big part of how a dreadnought like this gets its volume and depth. It comes with its hardshell case. If you've wondered how a handbuilt Japanese acoustic compares with the usual names, come sit with it for a while.

This Schecter's Purple Obsidian finish shifts with the light, and because hydro-dip patterns vary from guitar to guitar, no other C-1 looks quite like this one. Under the paint it's built for modern rock and metal. The Thin C neck and 24 jumbo frets leave room to move around when you're soloing, and the active Radio Active humbuckers are made to stay tight with plenty of gain. It's brand new and on the wall for you to try. 🎸

As the seasons change in Lancaster, PA, you might notice humidity levels rising in your home. Without the need for constant air conditioning, levels can easily exceed 60% RH, especially on rainy days. This increase can affect your guitar, causing the wood to swell and potentially impacting playability.

To protect your instrument, we recommend keeping an eye on the humidity. Use a dehumidifier if needed, or consider a two-way humidifier like the D'Addario Humidipak, which we stock at Guitars on Main.

If you notice fret buzz due to neck swelling, adjusting the truss rod can help. Feel free to bring your guitar in for an evaluation. Most truss rod adjustments are only $10.

Stay ahead of the season and ensure your guitar stays in tune with the changing climate. Visit us to learn more about caring for your instrument. 🎸

🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 5 star review from Ricky Seibert: Highly recommend

The entire experience was awesome! From scheduling a drop off, to the actual drop off and pick up. The premium setup is worth every penny! Upon pick up the guitar looked amazing, like it was brand new and it plays great! They even smoothed the edges of the frets making movements much smoother. I personally dealt with Robert, he was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. He gave me an advice on what string thickness will work best for me. I have several guitars and I will be a return customer!

Frets done right! gets it. Players want smooth frets for great bending and vibrato action, plus they polish them so well they shine like mirrors! It’s hard to believe that this guitar is only $249!
