🎉💗 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR AMAZING DIRECTOR, MRS. ANABEL! 💗🎉

Today we get to celebrate someone who means SO much to our MCELC family! 🥰 For 17 incredible years, Mrs. Anabel has poured her heart, time, love, and dedication into Mount Calvary Early Learning Center and into the families and children in our community. 💕🏫

If you know Mrs. Anabel, you know that she has the biggest heart. She is constantly putting others before herself, making sure everyone around her feels loved, supported, appreciated, and special. She has a way of making people feel like they matter and that is one of the many things that makes her such a beautiful person and an incredible leader. ❤️

For 17 years, she has made such a lasting impact on MCELC and our community. So many children, families, and staff members have been blessed by her love and dedication throughout the years. Her passion for the children and for the people she works alongside shines through in everything she does. 🌸✨

We are SO lucky to have her, and we hope today she feels just how loved and appreciated she truly is! 💐💗

🚒✨ Career Week at MCELC! 👷‍♂️❤️

What better way to wrap up an exciting week of learning about different careers than with some very special visitors! 🎉

Our friends at the Mount Jackson Fire Department stopped by MCELC to spend some time with our children. The kids were SO excited to see the fire trucks and ambulance up close, explore the inside, and learn more about the important work our firefighters and EMTs do to help keep our community safe! 🚒🚑🧯

We were also so excited to welcome Chris McDowell from USIC! Chris showed our children some of the special equipment he uses to locate metal wires and utilities underground before digging begins for different projects. Our little learners loved seeing the detector in action and learning how this important job helps keep people safe! 👷‍♂️🦺🔎

It was a day full of learning, excitement, hands-on experiences, and BIG smiles! We love giving our children opportunities to meet people in our community and learn about the many different ways they can make a difference when they grow up. 🌟

A HUGE thank you to the Mount Jackson Fire Department and to Chris McDowell for taking time out of your busy schedules to visit MCELC and make Career Week so special! We are so grateful for our amazing community helpers! ❤️

🎺🥁 Once a Mt. Calvary Kid, Always a Mt. Calvary Kid! 💙

We have a special opportunity to support one of our former Mt. Calvary students, who is now a member of the SJHS Marching Band! 🎶 We absolutely love watching our former students grow up and continue doing amazing things in our community.

The Marching Generals are currently raising funds for their 2026 marching season by selling Domino’s Pizza Cards! 🍕🍕

🍕 Cards are $20 each
🍕 When you purchase a large pizza, you receive an additional large pizza FREE!
🍕 The card can be used multiple times through June 2027 at participating locations.

If you love pizza AND would like to help support a former Mt. Calvary student and the SJHS Marching Band, this is a wonderful way to do both! 💙🎺

We will share the fundraiser information/QR code below for anyone who would like to participate.
