The Kilo class is settling in after the entrance Mass at Sacred Heart. Here the men enjoy breakfast, joined by a couple of dear friends of the seminary, Robert and Monica Mylod.

Friends, it is hard to keep up with the chapel construction progress. The team here is relentless and we can see the fruits of their labor ripen from day to day. While the interior details reveal Fr. Kauth's vision more and more, the outside is coming closer to completion too. The chapel looks like a ship plowing through the choppy waters of the world. The bells are in place, covered, awaiting the tall spire that will protect them. The East facing rose window casing is being installed, with one half facing in, and another to the outside. If you look closely at the interior picture, you will see a lot of detail on the columns and in the vaulted ceilings. Join us for the Entrance Mass for the Kilo class today, Friday, July 31, at 4 p.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Salisbury (375 Lumen Christi Lane, Salisbury, NC).

God has sent us ten men in our tenth year when our diocese ordained ten men to the sacred priesthood. Please pray for these men as they enter seminary, and for a spirit of true discernment on this feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
