🙏 A Call to Prayer for Panama

Following the strong earthquake that struck Panama on 9 October, we invite the CCI community to join together in prayer.

Homes, schools, churches and health facilities have been damaged, and some families have lost their homes completely.

🙏 Pray for comfort, peace and provision for those affected.

🙏 Ask God to strengthen churches, healthcare workers and communities as they respond.

🙏 Pray for protection from further aftershocks and heavy rain, and for the resources needed to rebuild.

Above all, pray that God’s presence and hope will be known throughout Panama as His people serve those in need.

Please join us in lifting up Panama in prayer.

🏺 Treasure in Jars of Clay

📖 “But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7 (ESV)

God does not require us to be strong or flawless before He can work through us. Like fragile jars of clay carrying something precious, our limitations can reveal that the power at work within us comes from God, not ourselves. Our weakness can become a place where His strength is clearly seen.

👣 Keep Pressing Forward

“We do not become like Jesus overnight but through a long obedience in the same direction.” – John Mark Comer

Following Jesus is formed through the steady choices we make day after day. In ordinary moments, repeated acts of obedience, and seasons when progress feels slow, we keep pressing forward. Over time, God uses that faithful journey to make us more like Jesus.

🌳 Congratulations to Tanari Trust’s Camp Malta and Camp Oltepesi on joining CCI CreationCare!

🌍 In Kenya, Tanari Trust creates adventure camp experiences where young people can step away from the distractions of technology and reconnect with what matters. Camp Malta, nestled between three rivers in Makuyu, provides an environment for exploration, discovery, and adventure, while Camp Oltepesi is being developed as a new place of learning and outdoor experience in Magadi.

🌱 With a mission to “Empower Youth for Life,” Tanari Trust uses creative programming and experiential learning to help young people grow in faith, character, and their ability to positively influence their communities. Their outdoor settings provide wonderful opportunities to experience God’s creation while learning, exploring, and growing together.

👣 Keep Pressing Forward

📖 “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Becoming more like Jesus is a lifelong journey. We haven't arrived, but we keep moving forward, allowing God to shape us through each step of faithful obedience. Our eyes remain fixed on Christ and the life He is calling us to.

🌊 Peace in the Storm

“We can rest in the still waters of God’s love and care even when the winds and waters of our external world churn.” – Taylor Joy Murray

Our circumstances may be anything but peaceful, yet God offers us a place of rest in Him. When the world around us feels turbulent, we can anchor ourselves in His unchanging love, trusting that His presence and care remain steady through every storm.

🌳 Congratulations to Rocklands Centre on joining CCI CreationCare!

🌍 Spectacularly located on a mountainside overlooking False Bay in South Africa’s Western Cape, Rocklands Centre has been welcoming campers since 1988. Today, schools, churches, and organisations come to Rocklands for Christ-centred camping experiences focused on Christian growth, leadership development, family enrichment, and youth ministry.

🌱 Rocklands is a wonderful example of CreationCare in action. Surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty, the centre intentionally helps campers appreciate God’s creation and recognise Him as Creator, making the environment an important part of the camp experience.

🌍 ACC Annual Training Conference 2026
(Morogoro, Tanzania)

ACC (African Christian Camping - East Africa) recently held their Annual Training Conference in Morogoro, Tanzania, bringing together Christian camping leaders from Kenya 🇰🇪, Uganda 🇺🇬, Rwanda 🇷🇼, Tanzania 🇹🇿, Ethiopia 🇪🇹, South Africa 🇿🇦, and the USA 🇺🇸 for a week of learning, fellowship, and shared encouragement focused on Kingdom Impact.

Throughout the conference, participants learned and trained together, shared experiences, strengthened partnerships, and built new friendships across countries and cultures. It was a valuable opportunity for leaders to grow together, enjoy fellowship and adventure, and be reminded of their shared calling to equip and inspire others through Christian camping.

As leaders carry what they have learned back to their countries, churches, camps, and ministries, please pray that they will remain encouraged by the words of Galatians 6:9–10 and not grow weary in doing good. Pray that the relationships strengthened in Morogoro will continue to grow and that the impact of the conference will be seen through faithful service and strengthened camp ministry across Africa.
