Way to go Mrs. Campbell! Such a great example for others

Last night Ms. Campbell of Mt. Gilead Mt.Gilead Elementary was recognized as the Teacher of the Month for September . Mrs. Campbell is a dedicated, hardworking teacher who consistently goes above and beyond to help her students succeed.
Mrs. Campbell holds high expectations and believes all students can learn and achieve at high levels. She creates opportunities for students to grow while providing the support and encouragement they need to reach their potential.
She also understands the importance of building strong partnerships with families. Her efforts to involve parents in their children’s learning have strengthened the connection between home and school and helped create a team around student success.
Most importantly, Mrs. Campbell’s commitment to instruction, student achievement, and continuous growth has made a measurable impact. Her efforts contributed to our 3rd grade team meeting our 25-26 School Improvement goal, demonstrating the power of high expectations, purposeful instruction, and a relentless commitment to student learning. Mrs. McRae is very well-deserving! Congrats!

Last night, Ms. Vanessa McRae of Mt.Gilead Elementary was recognized as the Staff Member of the Month. As our art teacher, Mrs. McRae provides students with opportunities to explore their creativity, express themselves, think differently, and discover talents they may not have known they possessed. Through art, she encourages students to take risks, make choices, solve problems, and turn their ideas into something they can see and be proud of. Her students' creativity can be seen throughout our school, as their artwork proudly lines our hallways and brings our building to life.
Mrs. McRae also understands that student success requires teamwork. During Push-In time, she works alongside Mrs. Campbell to support classroom instruction, providing students with additional opportunities to engage, practice, and strengthen their learning.

Way to go Frankie!!

Last night, Frankie was recognized as a Mt.Gilead Elementary Principal Choice Student of the Month. Frankie is a wonderful student who works hard, encourages others, and approaches each day with an optimistic spirit. Every morning, it is guaranteed that Frankie will get out of the car with a smile and a fist bump or high five. That positive energy follows her throughout the day and makes those around her feel encouraged and welcome.
Our Character Trait for this month is Excellence, and Frankie models this trait through her positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to encourage others, and commitment to doing her best. Pictured below, Ms. Kesha Collins, (principal), Frankie and Mr. Wade Auman (Superintendent).

Homework is more than just extra work! It gives our Gators an opportunity to practice and strengthen the skills they are learning in class. 💚💜

✨ Practice helps students retain knowledge! Regular practice gives students more opportunities to remember what they’ve learned and build confidence and fluency with important skills.

Homework also helps our teachers see what students can do independently and identify skills that may need additional review or support during classroom instruction. 👩‍🏫📖

You can even make purchases online through walmart or Amazon and as long as you go through School Store to get there, our school gets a percentage of your total purchase.

We want to thank all the families who have already participated in our SchoolStore program! We are on our way to reaching our goal, but we need everyone's help to make sure our teachers get the essential tools they need to help our students succeed.

If your family has not participated, there's still time!

This safe and easy program is 100% online so there is no face-to-face selling, collecting money, or delivering products. Your child will receive a prize just for participating, and more prizes will be awarded when goals are reached.

Then you can create your parent account and start adding emails to show our valued teachers and the school your support. Your student only needs 8 emails to get their first prize, a book buddy stuffed animal!

Ms. McRae needs our help. She has an art project she wants to do with each student, but she needs cereal boxes. They need to be empty. If you have any that she can use, please bring them by to the front office or send them in with your student.
