🎨 Exciting News! We Started a New Afterschool Art Program! 🎨
We are thrilled to launch our new Afterschool Art Program led by local artist, muralist, and art instructor Rudy Drapiza! Rudy is the owner of Drapiza Gallery in Mount Dora, Florida, and his beautiful artwork and public murals can be seen across Central Florida. He specializes in watercolor techniques and is passionate about helping young artists bring their imagination to life.
Adding to the fun, Rudy is joined by his wonderful wife, Joy, who will be assisting throughout the classes to ensure every student gets hands-on guidance and encouragement!
Here is a look at the 3 main pillars Rudy is teaching this semester:
•🎨 Modes of Painting: Exploring different approaches to create expressive artwork.
•🖼️ Parts of Painting: Learning the essential elements that make a strong, balanced painting.
•💧 Techniques in Painting Watercolors: Discovering the beauty, versatility, and skills of working with watercolors.
A huge thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Drapiza for sharing their passion and inspiring creativity in our students!
