Hampden’s Got Talent took the stage last week, and it was a good one! 🎤🎸🎹🥁

Students sign up, step up, and share something they love with their classmates. No auditions, no tickets, no polished performance anyone is expected to deliver. That is exactly the point! When the pressure comes off, students try things they would never attempt under a spotlight, and their peers get to see a side of them the classroom does not always show.

Expression grows best where there is space for it. We are glad to be that space. 💙

Our Chick-fil-A Spirit Night was full of familiar faces! Thank you to every HDA family who showed up at Golden Groves, shared a table, and supported our school just by grabbing dinner together. These are the nights that remind us how rooted this community really is. 💙 Chick-fil-A Golden Groves

This is what afternoons look like at HDA. Open air, shade under the colonnade, a basketball game going, and students who genuinely enjoy being together. Our campus gives them room to breathe, play, and build the kind of friendships that stick. 🦁💙

After school rock band music class with Mr. Wes is in full swing! Students are learning real songs together, tuning strings, finding their notes, and cheering each other on along the way. Every rehearsal is teaching them something bigger than music: how to practice, how to take a risk, and how to use a gift that points back to the One who gave it. 💙

Aslinn Bouton joined us on campus for Elementary chapels this morning and shared how God is actively moving in our lives. One of the ways we can see it is in our own character, quicker to forgive, a little more like Him than we were before.

She compared it to planting a seed. You cannot see what is happening under the soil, but you can trust that it is working and that the results will come in time. Three things to hold onto: God is active. God is working. I can trust Him. Romans 8:28. Who is HDA forging you to become?
