We are moving forward with getting permits and meeting requirements to open!🤩 the meeting was very helpful. A special thank you to the City of Mount Dora for guiding us through this journey. We may not be able to open by Labor Day, BUT we are excited to be moving forward! Keep those prayer and good thoughts coming our way!

The conditional use permit has been approved. We are working with our civil engineer to get approval for the playground and fencing! Keep the prayers and good thoughts coming our way. Our GOAL is to open the week of Labor Day! 🌻

We are excited to say that we have a meeting with the Planning & Zoning Commission next Wednesday. This meeting is to vote on our Conditional Use Permit. Stay tuned for the next update.

We FINALLY have a new location to reopen our facility! Our civil engineer submitted our conditional use permit request to the city of Mount Dora. Please pray that all goes through with the permit. Once the permit is approved we will have the playgrounds installed and then begin licensing with DCF. We will be offering Birth - Kindergarten to the community. With cameras in every classroom that the parents can view from their phones.

✨SECOND ANNUAL STORY BOOK PARADE✨

We hosted our second annual story book parade today! Thank you to all of our parents for coming and supporting us! We had the best day!! 😊

We need your help! Due to hurricane Milton, a family at another one of our centers has lost everything. We are seeking donations on their behalf. All donations will go directly to the family. I have included all information that I currently have about the family and will continue to update as I get more information.

1 Girl, 2 boys
Girls sizes-
- Size 8 pants and shirts, medium shirts & size 13 or 1 in shoes.

Boys sizes-
- 4t-5t preferred 5t. Size 9 shoes.
- 9-12 month clothes.
- 18 month clothes.

All size diapers or pull ups are appreciated. The family will also need diapers, wipes, groceries, toiletries and adult clothes and shoes.

All donations can be dropped off at the center.

Our students got their vision and hearing screening done today. After screening, the Lake Sumter nursing students teamed up with the Lake County Early Learning Coalition and taught our VPK students about hand washing! 😀

We had lots of fun seeing the germs on our hand and washing them off.
