Today's the day! Our building addition is ready for its "soft open" and we're so excited for you to see it. Visit the library during our regular hours to explore our new spaces as we work towards completing the final touches.

Today, we're also hosting the Library of Congress's National Ambassador for Young People's Literature: acclaimed author Mac Barnett! These events are by-registration through Island Readers & Writers and will take place at 4:00pm and 6:00pm.

Students, teachers, and parents from the Outer Islands Teaching & Learning Collaborative (TLC) were on the Downeast Campus for three days this week! Students from Islesford, Great Cranberry, Monhegan, and Cliff hit the Challenge Course with EdGE staff, joined author Padma Venkatraman with Island Readers & Writers and had fun with their friends.
