Timelines for the upcoming election.
🗳️ MARK YOUR CALENDAR: THE NALC ELECTION IS COMING
The 2026 NALC national election is officially moving forward. Here are the dates every letter carrier should know:
📬 Sept. 28: Ballots will be mailed to all eligible voters.
⚠️ Oct. 7: If you still haven’t received your ballot, request a replacement.
⏰ Oct. 9 — 4:00 PM ET: Final deadline to contact the NALC Membership Department for a replacement ballot.
📮 Oct. 19 — NOON: Your ballot must be received by the election administrator to be counted.
The election will be conducted by mail, with the American Arbitration Association handling the preparation, mailing and tabulation of ballots under the oversight of the National Election Committee.
The important part: don’t put your ballot aside and forget about it. Once it arrives, take the time to review your choices, make your decision, and get it back in the mail early enough to make sure it arrives by the deadline.
This election will determine the direction of the National Association of Letter Carriers. Your ballot is your voice. Use it.
