District #348 Preschool for All will be conducting Preschool Screenings for children ages 3 to 5 on August 24th, 25th, and 26th. The screening checks each child’s progress in hearing, vision, speech, language, and coordination skills. This will give parents a better idea of how their child is progressing at this very young age before they begin school. This screening program is free and parents will receive immediate feedback on how their child is developing. Head Start personnel will also be present to explain their program and services. The screening procedure takes about 45 minutes and appointments must be made so that children do not have a long wait period. A limited number of screenings are also available for children ages 0 to 3. Parents should call 618-262-4623 to make an appointment or to get more information.

🚗 PARKING PASSES FOR FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES

If you are a freshman or sophomore who will be obtaining your driver’s license during the 2026–27 school year and would like to purchase a parking pass, please contact Emily Ledbetter at [email protected].

To be eligible to purchase a parking pass:
• You must have successfully completed and passed the Driver’s Education course.
• You may request to purchase a pass no earlier than two weeks BEFORE the date you expect to obtain your driver’s license.

Parking passes are subject to availability. Please do not contact Mrs. Ledbetter more than two weeks before your expected license date.

The 2026-2027 WCUSD #348 school registration is now open. REMEMBER: If you do not see your child in your portal, health records are needed before the portal will be unlocked. If you have forgotten your password, there is a link on the login screen to request a password reset. The system will send the reset to the email address we have on file. The Wabash County CUSD #348 student health record drop-off will be on Friday, July 24th, from 9 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Junior/Senior High School for all grade levels. Registration portals for the 2026-2027 school year will be locked for students who require health records for admission. Students entering Kindergarten, 6th grade, 9th grade, and 12th grade are required to have physicals and/or immunizations for school entry. The Mt. Carmel Jr/Sr High office will be open for drop-off of those health records on the above date and time. Online Registration is expected to open on July 27, 2026. https://aptg.co/tKxc9_
