Equine Science students have been learning about diseases in class this week. They got to end their week with abscess simulations! They learned that abscesses are filled with infection and blood and how to properly puncture and drain it using a syringe or scalpel. Safe to say they had a bursting fun time!!

Congratulations to Christian with show his scramble heifer Delta at the Houston livestock show! They showed in the scramble show and placed 12th and show in the Junior Breeding Angus show!

Advanced Animal Science and Equine Science classes got to attend a field trip to the MCC Highlander Ranch today to learn about their facilities, degrees programs and student opportunities.

Congrats to Braelynn with her wins with her rabbits this weekend at the Royce City Bulldog Buckle Bash Rabbit Show! She got six 1st place ribbons and two 2nd place ribbons. She received Best Opposite with her Doe and Best of Group.

Due to the weather and conditions we encountered this last week and the impending weather for this weekend we have decided to postpone our Co****le Tournament to a later date. We will reach out with the new date once we fit it on our calendars! We will see you then!
