I may be biased, but I’m convinced that Riverdale has the best Elementary guidance counselor ever! Being away from these kiddos for 3 months has been tough! While I’ve been recovering, Mrs. Swavel made sure to send me these pictures on a regular basis. Seeing them smile makes me smile!

Thank you to Mrs. Girdler for taking such good care of them, and to all of the parents and families who have been so supportive during my time away. I’ll be back tomorrow! I can’t wait to spend the rest of the school year with this amazing group of kids! ❤️

We had our first Riverdale Elementary Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade today! We decorated “balloons” (we improvised with paper plates) and walked in a parade for the other grades. I loved watching these kiddos use their imagination and creativity - their projects turned out great!!
