Congratulations to the BCEMS Class of 2026! 🎓💙
Last night in Frost Chapel, we celebrated our eighth grade graduates as they reflected on their journeys, shared heartfelt speeches, and were recognized for their achievements, leadership, and character. From kindergarten through eighth grade, this class has grown into an incredible group of young leaders ready for the next chapter. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and can’t wait to see the impact they will make in high school and beyond.

🌿Our middle school students wrapped up an incredible trip to Jekyll Island with fishing adventures and hands-on learning about ocean geology! From exploring the coast to making lasting memories together, it was the perfect ending to a wonderful time of learning and discovery. We are thankful for all the experiences shared and happy to report that everyone made it home safely! 🌊🎣🦀

Day 2 on Jekyll Island was packed with hands-on learning and coastal adventure for our middle school students! 🌊🦀
Students explored marine life while seining, discovered the unique ecosystem of the salt marsh, studied the shoreline at North Beach, and put their creativity to work building sand castles. The excitement continued after dark with a nighttime hunt for ghost crabs along the boardwalk! Another unforgettable day of learning beyond the classroom!

Our middle school students are off to an incredible start on Jekyll Island! 🌊🌿🦀
Yesterday was packed with hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences. Students explored the shoreline during a Beach Ecology class, discovered the unique ecosystem of the Maritime Forest, and got an up-close look at fascinating coastal creatures in the marine lab. They capped off the evening with a Sea Fishing class as to learn more about Georgia’s coastal waters and marine life. We are so grateful for opportunities like this that bring classroom learning to life and allow our students to explore, discover, and connect with the natural world. Lights, camera, action! 🍿🎬

We rolled out the red carpet for our 7th and 8th grade movie premiere, celebrating the incredible films our students wrote, directed, filmed, and edited from start to finish. Bringing their ideas to life on screen, students took ownership of every step of the creative process and the results were impressive!
