Ringgold County Conservation is concerting the “old lake” into Liberty Lake. Here’s the next phase....

Since acquiring Liberty Lake in the fall of 2018, Ringgold County Conservation has made countless improvements and we are beyond excited to announce that we have been approved for a $100,000.00 Land and Water Conservation Fund grant with a final review by the National Park Service in the next few months!!

The competition for this grant is intense and we are thrilled to receive funding to help us jump start Liberty Lake- Phase 3: shower house, campground and primitive cabins.

So now we need YOUR help!! The LWCF grant is a 1:1 match grant. Meaning, we need to raise another $100,000.00 to meet the grant guidelines by March 2021!!

We have already received a very generous donation from Larry and Rita Hunter for $25,000.00!!

Please SHARE this post and help us reach our goal and continue to make Liberty Lake a must visit destination in southwest Iowa.

All donations $250 and over will receive permanent recognition on a donor kiosk at the Liberty Lake campground.

THANK YOU for your consideration!!
