The Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame recognizes volunteers or staff from counties throughout the state who have made a significant contribution to the Iowa 4-H program.

We are proud to announce that the 2026 inductees for Ringgold County 4-H are Lyle Faris and Debbie Klommhaus. ❤

The 4-H Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies will be held on Sunday, August 23 in the 4-H Exhibit Building, with Lyle and Debbie being part of the 3:30 pm ceremony.

Extension is collaborating with the Iowa State University Digital Ag Innovation Lab to host a COMBINE UNIVERSITY. It is a hands-on educational opportunity designed to help operators, producers and agricultural professionals be prepared for the technical demands of harvest. It will include instruction on combine operation, yield monitor calibration, sensor technology, grain loss management, machine optimization and data accuracy.

This one-day program will be offered on August 24, 25 and 26 at Blomgren Seeds near Boone. Each day features the same curriculum, so pick the date that best fits your schedule.

The Iowa State Fair officially starts on Thursday! 😍 GOOD LUCK to all our 4-H members that are exhibiting at the Iowa State Fair!!

If you happen to be at the fair, you'll find the work of Ringgold County 4-H members all over the place - in the livestock & small animals barns, in the Agriculture Building and in the Bruce L. Rastetter 4-H Exhibits Building. Be on the 👀 for our members & their exhibits! ❤🍀
