Good Evening Plainsmen Stars! This is your principal Mrs. Gammons calling you with news for the upcoming week. Our K-2 Parent Breakfasts will be held this week. The Kindergarten Parent Breakfast will be held Tuesday at 8:15 in the Media Center, our 1st Grade Parent Breakfast will be on Wednesday, and the 2nd Grade Parent Breakfast will be on Thursday in the Media Center. Book Battle will meet after school on Wednesday until 4:00, and students must have a note in order to stay. On Friday, our Student Council speeches and elections will be held at 8:30 in the gym. We wish our candidates best of luck and are proud of their hard work.
Thank you in advance for your support and participation in our chocolate fundraiser. All funds raised will be used for school improvement and enhancement that will benefit all students and staff. Our fundraiser will end on Wednesday, September 9th. Our Plainsmen Stars Spirit Gear sale ends Wednesday, September 2nd. Use the link on the flyer that was sent home or use the link on our page to your spirit gear today.
As a reminder, our tardy bell rings at 8:00 am and school dismisses at 3:00 pm each day. It is important for all students to be at school each day, and stay for the full instructional day, as tardies and early dismissals take away from instructional time. Also, transportation changes are required to be in writing. We are unable to take transportation changes over the phone. Also, to help our car line run smoothly, please remain in your car during the car line to help keep traffic moving safely and smoothly. Thank you for your help in keeping our students safe.
Looking ahead, there will be no school on Monday, September 7th, as we recognize the Labor Day holiday. Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff. Have a restful evening and a wonderful week!
